I'm giving you a heads up on the movies that are coming out in the first half of 2024.

It's talking

lamar you know we've got all of the strikes and all this stuff out of the way everybody's back to work

and we're fixing to start seeing some movies probably going to take them a little while to catch up

but there's already some stuff planned for early 2024.

We're going to start off in January with Mean Girl.

Now, this is not a straight remake of the 2004 comedy, but it is also written by the very

talented Tina Fey, who did write the original.

This is an adaptation of the stage musical Mean Girls,

which came from the original film. Now, and Gurie Rice, she plays the new girl, Katie,

and Renee Rapp plays the boss mean girl, Regina George. And January is traditionally when studios put out the movies that they have

pretty low hopes for. But I keep thinking, it's Tina Faye. She's a genius and I'm hoping for

good things. We're just going to have to see. I get two messages on this. I expect that it would be good, but why would they release it in January if it's going to be top-notch?

That's my only concern.

I like the original mean girls.
