Before we talk about one night in Miami and the issues around it, I just, who was the Jim Brown that you knew?

Well, that's a good question.

You know, kind of a tough question.

One of the things that surprised me when I spent time with him was that he had a sense of humor

and that was one of the reasons I think people liked the book because he was funny in it
