| 1:28.4 | bit about how you got the, how you got New England Natural started? Yeah, absolutely. Well, first, |
| 1:33.6 | thanks for having me, Tyler. I really appreciate it. And I'm excited to talk about trapping or birds, |
| 1:37.7 | wherever it goes. But yeah, so we started New England Naturals in 2017. And we is my wife and I, Riley and myself. |
| 1:48.0 | And we started it as actually, we had made too much Chaga extract. |
| 1:52.0 | And I know that has nothing to do with trapping, but it's kind of a roundabout way. |
| 1:56.0 | Chaga extract. |
| 1:57.0 | Yeah. |
| 1:58.0 | So Chaga is a medicinal mushroom. |
| 2:00.0 | And my wife is a natural product chemist and so she was |
| 2:03.3 | in school at the time and you know found this mushroom that was really cool and essentially we made |
| 2:08.8 | too much of a tincture which is kind of a souped up tea that has medicinal qualities and we said geez |
| 2:14.7 | what are we going to do with this well we decided we decided we would try to sell it on Etsy. |
| 2:19.3 | And so we kind of started an Etsy and started selling Chaga. Well, that next year, we, uh, well, again, we were trapping at the time, but that next year, we sold our fur into the fur market. |
