We continue with our staff spotlight this week,

highlighting the intrepid members of our slush reading team.

This group of exceptional creatures are the gatekeepers of our submissions,

searching to find only the tastiest, most gruesome morsels for us to feed into your ears.

We've got four ghouls on our team, so rather than rush things, I think we'll break it up over the next couple of episodes.

First up is Morgan Payne.

Morgan is dedicated to uplifting marginalized voices in horror fiction

and has been running their blog, Diversity in Horror, for over five years.

They've appeared on podcasts such as progressively horrified, is it transphobic,

and contributed articles to morbidly beautiful.

When they're not reading, writing, or watching horror,

Morgan works at a hospital where they're the head of the LGBTQIA-plus employee resource group.

Morgan lives with their wife, three cats, four rats, and a very grumpy rabbit.
