This is Tales to Terrify. Good evening, children of the night, and welcome.

It's been the perfect combination of warm days and cool nights in these parts lately,

and that means perfect hammock weather for reading books and listening to podcasts during the day and cool nights to spend inside with a good movie or show.

I have no lack of books on my To Be Red pile, but I promised myself that I'd dig

back in and finally finish House of Leaves before the end of the summer. Given it's been

probably a year since I last picked it up, and more like two since I started, I should probably

head back to the beginning and start fresh. It's one of those novels that I've heard

mentioned over and over again as one of the scariest, and I'm almost a little embarrassed to

admit, I still haven't finished it.

That said, if you've got any recommendations to add to my summer reading list,
