podcast related. Our very own Pete Morsellino has signed up for a very meaningful challenge,

something called the ration challenge, and he needs our support. For one week, from June 13th to 19th, Pete will eat the same rations as a Syrian

refugee living in a camp in Jordan, just a small amount of rice, flour, lentils, chickpeas,

beans, fish or tofu, and oil. That's it. No coffee, no sugar, none of the usual creature

comforts we are used to. As somebody privileged enough to be born and raised in a first world country,

that sounds pretty tough to me. The money raised by Pete's participation in this challenge goes toward helping

to bring emergency food, health care, and life-saving support to people who need it most. By helping

Pete hit his goals, you'll be helping to make lives for people who've lost everything, just a little more bearable,

and also giving Pete access to additional rewards he can redeem for extras to make the week a little less daunting.
