This is Tales to Terrify. Good evening, children of the night, and welcome.

With April, more or less behind us, we're entering one of horror's favorite times of year.

You've heard of Christmas in July, well, this is more like Halloween in May.

That's right, the annual Stoker Awards are just three weeks away,

and the Horror Writers Association has been hard at work putting the finishing touches on the virtual StokerCon 2021.

It looks like it's shaping up to be one hell of an event.

As usual, there are some fantastic names on the ballot, including ones I'm sure you'll recognize from

this show. This year, Stoker-Con will feature everything from virtual writing workshops

to pitch sessions to the amazing Final Frame film competition, which I have to admit I'm

very much looking forward to.

As usual, we'll feature as many of the short story Stoker nominees as we can get our claws on,

which, in this case, unfortunately happens to be two, due to publication rights and all that jazz,

two killer stories that we can't wait to share with you,

so look forward to that in the coming weeks. If you'd like to take part in the event yourself,
