Winter has set in with a vengeance in the north.

If you haven't seen some of the footage of the snowstorm, snowmageddon, as some people are calling it, in Newfoundland, in Atlantic Canada, take a look. The province was literally

buried in snow, and far less dramatic, but my hometown of Saskatoon was the coldest place on the planet,

I figured it might be nice to take a little warm vacation from the frigid temperatures and
