We're in Michigan this week.

Heading north of the city of Grand Rapids, we find ourselves an El Goma township.

Turning off of the main highway onto a smaller side road, we're surrounded by lush, heavy forest.

Dense foliage presses in from either side of the road.

We're going to pull over here.

The only way to get where we're going is on foot.

The forest feels dark and ominous this late at night.

Dense leaves and branches pressing in from all angles.

It's a good thing the moon is bright, otherwise we'd have a hell of a time working our way through the trees. Even still, there are only a few smudges of moonlight that make it all the way

down to the forest floor, so watch your step. Can you hear that? The sound of rushing water?

That's the river. We've got to be careful. You don't want to slip in. The current can be pretty

strong when the water's high. There it is. We've arrived. That metal walkway over the water, that is Hell's Bridge. And if the

legends are any indication, if we're here right around midnight, there's a good chance we'll have

one hell of a show. Hidden away in the forest, this little bridge might not look like much, but it has an

ominous history. Back in the mid-1800s, the people of Algoma Township were in the depths of a mystery

of the worst kind. It began when one of their children failed to return home.
