Nuts welcome to the night of the Seven kingdoms the Dunkin Egg, Iceberg.

Yeah, Jimmy, we put this together.

It was in the summer and we had done a couple of episodes.

I think we did like five episodes in a row of this.

And it's five tiers of an iceberg diving into the biggest sort of side story of the

game of Thrones Westros universe and that is the Duncan Egg Tales, a night of the Seven Kingdoms.

Now it's originally supposed to be seven stories, seven short stories, and just like the main series George has yet to finish.

He's also yet to finish this series but what we do have is three stories plus some

extended content that spills over into the histories and the world of ice and fire

that really provides a lot of information due to its proximity to the main series of a song of ice and fire and there's a ton of great

information and great theories to break down from this content.

Yeah absolutely and that's one of the best things about this universe is that every single time we get just a few answers or new characters we get a bunch more questions and Dunkin Egg is no exception to that at all.

Absolutely. So with that, here we go into tier one of the Knight of a Seven Kingdoms iceberg.

Is Sir Duncan the Tall actually a knight? The first scene of the hedge night we see Duncan the tall burying

Sir Arlan of Penitry, the night that Dunk squired for before the story begins. Duncan explains that as Sir Arlan was dying,

he knighted dunk.

This, however, comes into question more than once,

as not only do several people challenge Dunk on his actual knighthood, but Dunk gives the reader several

indications that he's kind of still figuring out what it means to be a night. So I have a couple quotes here. I'll pull up and then

we'll discuss. So this is when Duncan is actually trying to sign up at the beginning of the hedge night for the attorney at Ashford meadow here. So Plummer pursed his lips, my lord's attorney is a contest for knights. Are you a knight? He nodded.
