if you don't know about block stacked they're basically trying to make the decentralized internet that was talked about in the last season

of Silicon Valley happened to a certain extent.

Yeah, it was actually, yeah, it was eerily close, but it's funny.

Yeah, block stack is super interesting.

You know, I could build, you know, for example, decentralized Twitter, and you could choose

to store your data for my

decentralized Twitter interface. You could store it on your personal computer or your external

hard drive or Dropbox or somewhere else. Leave it internet connected and it'll be accessed. And,

you know, Nate here could code up a different client for decentralized Twitter.

And you could use his client, you could use my client.

It's pretty interesting.

I think that it'll be interesting to see the apps that come out of the business.

I think they also have a pretty interesting governance model where they're putting bounties for saying,

hey, we want to see this app built in a decentralized way.

The best person to build this app, we'll give them a reward of some sort.

Yeah, they did that with a bunch of like portfolio tracking apps.

I hacked on it for a little bit.

It was pretty interesting just to try out the platform.
