out ahead because the calves just don't have any guards right now Cleveland was of course

without Colin Sexton and Ricky Rubio, who are both out for

this season. But tonight they were also without Darius Garland, Karras Levert, and Ray John

Rondo, who are all out temporarily. The table was set going into this one for a wolf's win so long as

they could just survive Cleveland's size in the front court, which is obviously

a tall task. Jared Allen, Laurie Markinen, and Evan Mowgli starting in the front court is a job.

This small wolf's roster is not set up to handle. That's why they got smoked by the calves the last

time they played them. The difference, though, tonight, why they didn't get smoked by Cleveland's size is that

Darius Garland was not there to feed those bigs.

They were just left with Chetty Osmond and Braddon Goodwin, who had good games as the de facto

guards, but you just don't have to react to those two as much coming off of a screen

as you do with Garland, which allowed the wolves to kind of stay home more on their big

matchups.

The real question I came into this game having led to those bigs is, you know, who's going to

guard them?

In that last game, the wolves played the calves. Deilo didn't

play in that game and Tori and Prince started in his place. So it was, you know, it's a pretty easy,

you know, way to be able to match up. They started Cat, Vando, and Prince in that game. So you put

those three against Alan, Mobley, and Markan, Prince on Markanin. But starting Dilo tonight, that meant the wolves were again starting three guards,
