| 0:00.0 | So joining me today is none other than James Altature, James, welcome to Stansbury Radio. |
| 0:18.0 | Alright, thanks for having me on. I always enjoy coming on the show. |
| 0:21.0 | Well, we appreciate having you on. You always get some great feedback. |
| 0:24.0 | So today our guest is Glenn Jacobs. |
| 0:27.0 | Many of our listeners may not recognize the name, but anyone that is familiar with professional wrestling surely will. |
| 0:34.0 | He's a former WWE champion and went by the name of Kane. |
| 0:38.0 | I think he's like seven foot one or seven foot two and built like a tank. |
| 0:43.0 | James, this is your guest. Why did you invite a former WWE superstar to be interviewed on a financial show Stansbury Radio? |
| 0:53.0 | Well, I didn't know initially that Glenn was a professional wrestler, not only a professional wrestler. |
| 1:00.0 | He's won like every world championship in wrestling out there. |
| 1:05.0 | And like you said, the guy is over seven feet tall. |
| 1:09.0 | Well, I'll get to the story in a second, but a friend of mine, a mutual friend of ours, introduced us via email and said you guys should talk about politics and economics. |
| 1:20.0 | We got on the phone. We started talking very smart guy. He knows a lot about economics and his politics lean towards libertarian, but he also has a more mainstream side. |
| 1:32.0 | And then I Google him afterwards, Glenn Jacobs, and I see all these pictures. And I'm like, this couldn't be right. |
| 1:38.0 | And all these pictures are this huge, huge guy with like a mask and blood all over him. |
| 1:45.0 | And I realize this is this guy, Kane, who's, you know, this professional wrestler, but we've kept in touch. |
| 1:52.0 | And obviously if I've enjoyed being in contact with him, and I think he's going to have a lot of interesting things to say about the economy and politics and what's going on in this country and his own take on it. |
| 2:05.0 | Yeah, I totally agree. So for listeners that missed two episodes ago, when you co-hosted with me, you talked about why you, you have chosen not to run for your congressional district. |
| 2:17.0 | So I believe the call that was made was kind of, hey, can you talk to Glenn about the reasons why you chose not to run. |
| 2:25.0 | And that's kind of how it prompted this interview with each other. And then you guys have become kind of friends. Is that correct? |
| 2:32.0 | Yeah, yeah, basically, just again, we had mutual friends in politics and he wanted to hear more about my experiences of why I chose not to run for Congress. |
| 2:44.0 | And so, you know, among my reasons was I felt like you can't really, the system is so corrupt and so in place in Washington, DC, that there's no way to get inside the machine in order to change it. |
