I felt his eyes scanning me. My less drunk self would

have gotten flustered. I would have blushed and averted my eyes. I was not that cheapish of a woman

tonight. I let him explore my body and attire with his eyes. I let him take as long as he wanted. I was not going to flinch.

I made a promise to her. He nodded toward a woman. She was sitting on the couch, and someone's

watch was already on her wrist.

She smiled at us and winked at me.
