I'm Ryan Mink, joined by Garrett Downing, and we just watched the Ravens first full-team

0:12.1

training camp practice of 2024.

0:14.9

We're going to give you our takeaways today.

0:16.8

And obviously there's a little bit of news at the beginning of practice, Garrett, with the news that Lamar Jackson was sent home ill. He was six,

0:24.9

so Ravens sent him home. So no eight under center at the start of it. Not the way you

0:30.0

want to start, but not a big deal, I think. Yeah. But once he got past that,

0:34.7

it was, uh, it felt like, it still felt like training camp, even though Lamar, even though the big star wasn't there. Yeah, I mean, when the quarterbacks run out there and you're like, okay, one, two, three, four, hold on, wait, where's number eight? Where's number eight? It is, it does take the wind out of the sales a little bit for the start of practice. But I agree. I thought it was a pretty up-temper practice. You know, fans were out there today. This is the first time that fans were out there as training camp gets underway and that adds kind of an element of energy to practice. Sure. It just feels more like the real deal. Yep. And had the little minklets out there today. Oh, the little minis. Yeah. Minimks. Do they have any takeaways?

1:11.9

Those were their big takeaways. That's good. That's good. but yeah I I mean, I think that it was a good start to practice.

1:34.1

We'll run through, of course, you know, what stood out to us. Just from an attendance standpoint,

1:39.5

obviously Lamar Jackson was not out there. But I think overall, pretty good news on the attendance front.

1:46.0

Marlon Humphrey was practicing in full. He was somebody who was sididelined for most of the off-season. Kyle Hamilton was back in full go.

1:49.0

You know, he had the elbow surgery, did not practice during minicamp.

1:52.0

The expectation was that he would be ready to rock and he is.

1:55.0

So that's really good sign.

1:56.0

David Ajabo was doing full team drills, so that's really encouraging.

2:00.0

We hadn't seen that previously

2:01.3

from him, so it was good to see him out there doing that. The guys who were not out there,

2:06.6

obviously no Keaton Mitchell. He's still working his way back. Two rookies, Edisa Isaac, the third

2:11.2

round pass rusher, who's dealing with a hamstring injury, and T.J. Tampa, a fourth-round

2:16.2

cornerback, is dealing with the sports hernia.
