Garrett and I are here to break down the first joint practice between the Ravens and commanders.

It was a lively session, to say the least, competitive, and good work.

Good practice.

Garrett, what stood out to you first and foremost?

I mean, look, I think when you are facing a different team,

when you line up against somebody and they got an opposite jersey on across from you,

I think it does just elevate the intensity of practice.

I think you could feel that early on.

We were doing a live stream throughout the entire practice,

and the very first play of one-on-ones was Roquan Smith against one of the running backs

for Washington.

I can't remember which one.

And Roquan came through and popped him.

And it was, you know, basically a pass-rest drill.

And immediately I was like, oh, this is going to be a physical practice. I mean,

now you're going up. This is what these joint practices are. The intensity goes up,

physicality goes up. And this is a chance, I think, for guys who are the starters to get more

work against another first team on the other side. You don't get into the preseason. I mean,

that's not happening in the preseason. And so that's taking place in these practices. So I thought that was the case throughout the day.

I thought, like you said, I thought it was a good day of work, physical, tough, intense practice.

Obviously, fans that are out there and, you know, on the internets, They're going to see the headlines about the fights.
