Diana Rossini is resigning from The Athletic.

Last week, the New York Post published pictures of Rossini and Patriots coach Mike Vrabel at a resort in Arizona holding hands and embracing.

Both are married. The athletic was conducting a review of Rusini's work.

She says, quote, not because I accept the narrative that has been constructed around this episode,

but because I refuse to lend it further oxygen or to let it define me or my career.

Diana Rossini, who sent us pastries one day because she thought we were making too much sport of her

for an interview she did with Kevin O'Connell that we just made fun of for being corny.

She obviously was in Sedona, Arizona, where Mike Vrable apparently had drawn, drove two hours

each way to spend the day with her.

They were photographed, and on page six in the New York Post.

The photos were put up and it led to an investigation through the athletic on Diana

Rossini and her, the house and wise of this trip, Diana Rossini said that it was her and three

of her friends that were on a hiking trip,

and Vrable came up with his friends,

and somehow these friends have never been identified or heard from,

and so she has chosen to resign.

Okay.

Her resignation letter is a lesson in martyrdom.

She says, Dear Stephen, who of course is Stephen Ginsburg,

Alan Ginsberg's cousin.

She's howling.
