Recently I saw a headline that I found very interesting, and I think that you will too.

Here's what they do.

And there were three things about this headline that grabbed my attention.

Number one was that, well, therapists get anxious too.

And of course, the headline writers at the Wall Street Journal, they know what grabs

people's attention. They knew that that would cause at least some people to go, huh? Really?

And I was one of those. So that was the first reason that grabbed my attention. Number two,

because I'm aware of the research,

I wondered how many of these therapists that they talked to for this article

used exercise and particularly walking to lower their anxiety.

The article mentions that 28% of all Americans reported some sort of anxiety within the previous two weeks.

And so they talked to a handful of therapists about what they do when they feel anxious, what they feel anxiety, just because you're a therapist.

You're not immune from anxiety.

And all of them mentioned sleep and exercise.

Sleep and exercise are very important for combating anxiety.

A couple of them drilled down on the exercise part and talked about walking as something they do.
