It is Egg Bowl Week.

As we do every year, we're going to try to get some of the great former Bulldogs

on the podcast, on the radio, to talk with us about some of their memories and their moments in that game.

Few had more big moments in the Egg Bowl than this man, Nick Fitzgerald from

Mississippi State quarterback. I'm going to do you a favor. We're not going to worry about

anything happened in 2017. It didn't happen as far as we're concerned for the purposes of this

particular podcast. How about that? We can definitely do that. We'll, we'll, we'll add like that.

That year just as not exist and that's fine with me.

So, 2016, you know, kind of a similar year to the one Mississippi State's having right now

in that defensively, we'll just be generous, so that team struggled at times defensively.

Going into that Egg Bowl, you know, Ole Miss was struggling as well.

It was kind of an odd egg ball.

Maybe the last one where there really weren't any stakes for anybody,

other than the pride of winning that game.

The offensive performance you guys put on that one is so dominant.

Is that one that during that week of practice and watching film,

Coach Mullen was like, we have something for them

that they're not expected.

Yeah, absolutely.

But also, I mean, there's a lot of the line for us in 2016.
