Well, they are officially still in wait and C mode. That's the latest on Arkansas quarterback KJ. Jefferson? Well, they are officially

still in wait and C mode. That's the term that Sam Pittman likes to use. He has yet to use

the C word concussion. He has purposely avoided it for whatever reason. He has said that, you know,

after the game, he said, well, he hit his head. And then on Monday said, well, he has said that you know after the game he said well he hit his head

and then on monday said well he has mild symptoms you could put two and two together there

that he is probably a concussion protocol uh they it doesn't sound like he's been able to do much

uh this week they're hopeful that he might be able to practice today, which is kind of the last day,

and then today being Wednesday, the last day that they need guys to participate in practice

in order for them to play in the game that week. Now, would they adjust that timeline for your

starting quarterback? You know, if he could come back Thursday or Friday, maybe.

But as of right now, my gut tells me he's not going to play, especially with the increased,

you know, scrutiny of concussions and how those things are handled.

We've all seen what happened with Tua in the NFL.

I think they're going to err on the side of caution

and probably going to see a healthy dose of the backups, you know, Kate Fortin and Malik Hornsby.
