Huge series in Starkville this weekend.

Joining me now from Baseball America, Teddy Cahill.

This is one, two, in your poll, Teddy.

What is it about Arkansas right now that you like just a little bit more than Mississippi State?

Well, you know, I think when you look at what Arkansas did in Arlington there,

I mean, that's really where the song goes back to, right? That they went 3-0 and that Mississippi

State has the misfortune of losing a game. You know, since then, Mississippi State played

really well, and I didn't play well in Arlington. But that was a loud, loud statement by Arkansas.

And then, you know, yes, they lost the game at Louisiana Tech, but that's a really good team.

People are going to see that as Conference USA play gets rolling here.

And I think that's a regional team.

They went on the road.

They won a road series there.

So those are kind of the things I like about what the hogs' resume looks like.

You know, if Mississippi State sweeps at LSU, you know, obviously that's a really good

road series as well.

And, you know, if they had swept that, we probably would have had a much more serious

conversation about who the number one team in the country was.

But as it stands right now, we'll let this weekend kind of settle it on the field.

I mean, when you think back over the past few years, obviously, in the SEC especially,

it's great series every weekend, but this early to have this kind of matchup is a little unusual on the calendar,
