And those known associates are uniformly al-Qaeda.

Bill, this is a very careful list you've compiled. Is this information available only to

Long War Journal, or has this been in the news for some time that we're looking at cutthroats?

years. The problem is that most people ignore this information. You have a cadre in Washington

of counterterrorism officials and policymakers that are so desperate to back someone in Syria

that they'll back a basically a cipher for al-Qaeda. I mean, when you look at this list of terror groups who are well-known,

who are foreign terrorist groups, you can't but come to the conclusion that the Hyattaheara Shamm

itself, which is listed by the U.S. as a foreign terrorist organization and its leader,

Abu Muhammad Al-Jalani, is listed as especially
