The Venn diagram of the world's most isolated places and the world's most populated places is probably just two distinct circles.

Isolation usually leads to desolation, and in the context of Svalbard, this rule holds up

with its rather large size, yet rather small population of just a few thousand.

As you've learned, this population is rather spread out,

with those few thousand in Longerbin,

a few hundred in Berenzburg,

and few dozen at best in Purimedeson, but then there's two other towns, two other fixtures of the high Arctic landscape that need acknowledgement.

Without covering their story, we couldn't walk away from this season feeling like we presented the comprehensive story of Spalbard, and after all, this episode is 6 of 6.
