Welcome to GrowCook Eat Arrange with me, Arthur Parkinson and my good friend Sarah Raven.

Today I'm on my own interviewing one of the UK's most prestigious and wonderful florists,

Shane Colony, who you might remember from doing the wedding flowers for Prince William and Kate Middleton, but Shane has also

got a great love of constant spry and also most importantly flying the flag of not using

a racist in event floristry or any forestry at all. Shane is completely committed like myself and

Sarah to using flowers where they belong in water once they're cut.

So we're going to be talking about all that today.

What you may know about Shane is he holds the Royal Rorant of appointment with the Prince of Wales.

He's also the author of four books.

He has an incredible business in North Kensington, which I have had the privilege of Wales. He's also the author of four books, has an incredible business in

North Kensington, which I had the privilege of visiting to see a whole Aladdin's cave of

vases and jewel-like glasses from where he sends out across the country and indeed the world at

times, his incredible flair for flowers and arranging flowers, but not making flowers look rigid and en masse.

Shane is actually an incredible parrot of flowers, making them look like they would look like in the garden.

So even though he is very much a florist who goes to the market to buy his flowers,

he is able to make them look like they're

from the garden and often within the correct season. And most of all, Shane is flying the flag

of floristry and sustainability by not using the demon that is a racist. So welcome, Shane,

this morning. Thank you. I think I'll get you to do the eulogy at my funeral after that makes me sound.
