an arrest has been made in the infamous Long Island serial killer case.

But charges have been filed for only three of the deaths and far more deaths have been assigned to the Long Island serial killer and it looks like the assumption that some people had made that the same man killed a dozen people whose bodies were found along the

beaches of Long Island just might not be accurate. Well on Thursday

59-year-old architect Rex Huerman was arrested in downtown Manhattan near

his office and he was charged with the deaths of three women whose cold cases

have remained unsolved for over a decade.

According to court documents,

he has been charged with the deaths of Melissa Bartholomew,

Megan Waterman, and Amber Costello.

Huerman is the main suspect in, but has not yet been charged with the murder of

marine brainard barns.

All of this is according to the district attorney's office.

Now Huerman's lawyer has entered a not guilty plea on behalf of his clients.
