gang, he was eventually made a shock call. He spent six out of his 10 years locked in solitary

confinement where he gave orders to his soldiers in the general population. After a botched murder

attempt against a rival, Rex had a come to Jesus moment and dropped out of the gang.

He spent the remainder of his sentence improving himself through studying and reading.

Today, he's a successful oil and gas salesman and an author of the novel, The Wolf and the Lion.

This was a powerful story that exposes not only how corrupt and violent the conditions in Texas prisons are,

but also gives an inside look at the Aryan Brotherhood and how they organize and conduct their

3,000-man operation from behind the wall and on the streets.
