and joining me from within the Orlando bubble

is Washington Post Ben Goliver.

How are you doing, Ben first and foremost?

I'm doing great man it's great to chat with you I'm sure I'm catching you at a nice time

here after the the heat took care of the Pacers quite handily and the first of what could be many many match-ups but otherwise

doing very well. Yeah it's been a good night for me and it gets even better

because I get a chance to talk to you about the NBA bubble and everything that's going on.

But I look at the games taking place and of course all the teams that are finding a way to

win there and nobody has been more surprising I think within the Orlando bubble than the Phoenix

sons with a blowout win over the thunder on Monday. The sons have improved the

six and oh in Orlando and while they'll be playing a back-to-back set with a game on Tuesday,

they'll be facing the Philadelphia 76 years without Ben Simmons, who is of course out for the

season, as well as Joe and Bean, who is expected to miss the game, with a left ankle injury.

Phoenix, Ben, what do we make of them?

How is it that they've been able to play this well and are you a believer and their chances

at contending for the eighth seed in the Western Conference?

I mean it's completely insane that they could come out here go 8 and 0 which is very realistic

for them and still not necessarily control their own destiny but that was the kind of

hill they had coming in.
