So let's just start with this for folks who may not know what are bump stocks they are devices that

turn a semi-automatic rifle into something closer to a machine gun the bump stock

harnesses their recoil of the rifle to accelerate trigger poles,

technically bumping the trigger for each shot after it bounces off the shooter's shoulder.
