Hey friends, it's Heather here from the Renaissance English History podcast. And this episode is the

audio from one of the March 2019 Tudor Summit videos. And that is Christine Morgan talking about

Mary Berlin. Now, a lot of you who follow this podcast know that I like to release the audios in

between the Tudor Summits. Of course,

when you come to the Tudor Summit live, you get to watch the videos and you get to have all the

interaction and everything like that. But then in between, I like to release some of my favorite

audios as well. And the sound quality is not as great, obviously, because I'm not recording

it as a podcast. It's done as a video for a live summit.

There's that. But listen, before we get started, and this is Christine Morgan. She is fabulous. She did a

thesis on Mary Berlin. She dispels a lot of myths about Mary Berlin. A lot of you know that I like to do

some myth busting on this show and in general.

And, you know, there's this idea that we have of Mary Boulin that she was either victimized by

her father or that she was the great horror of the mistress of the King of France, as well as

Henry the aide. Christine does a great job on doing some of that myth busting and giving us a

deeper perspective into who Mary Boulin really was. But before we do that, I've got two announcements to make.

are getting this vibe, but social media is turning into like a really toxic place. And I do have
