Summary
Herbs and spices and the plants that come with them are as integral to our day-to-day lives as earth and water. These naturally occurring plants and the chemicals within them have been a part of medicine, both traditional and modern, for hundreds of years.
Let's take some time to discuss some of the claims of various herbal supplement companies and complementary alternative therapies. The goal of this episode is to be more aware of current research regarding alternative medicine so we can better educate our patients in making good choices.
