NFL we're going to break them all down here and talk the big news of the week in the NFL helping

me do that is our resident coach my regular partner on inside the huddleboldt, and from NFL Network, former offensive lineman Brian Boulding.

Welcome, fellas. Happy new year. Jeff, let's just start with the Cleveland Browns. They're in the playoffs for the first time since the 2002 season. They got there last week with that win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, but they're going to be without head coach,

Kevin Stefanski. He has gone down with COVID-19 and a couple of players. Cadillowell Hodge,

the wide receiver and Joel Bertoneo, their Pro Bowl offensive lineman. Jeff, I'll get bawdy

to talk about the players in a second, but how does a team fare without his head coach in a playoff game?

Well, I think they've done the right thing.

They're going to let Mike Pryfer, who's the special teams coach,

handle the game day mechanics of being the head coach.

What do we challenge?

When do we go forward on fourth down?

How we play this field position?

And I think that's wise because the special teams coach is the one on the sideline,

who is most tied to the head coach during the game and best understands the flow of the game.

Alex Van Pelt's going to be overloaded.

He's going to go from quarterback coach and, quote, offensive coordinator,

though he did not call the plays, to having to call the plays. Now, that's a completely different deal. You go through your offensive series and then you come over on the sidelines and you go right to the polaroids,

you go right to the laptops, and you're making adjustments between series. The defense does the same thing. It's the
