Several Washingtonians are competing in the Olympic Games in Italy.

Speed skater, Cooper McLeod, is one of them.

The pennies on the chopping block in Washington State. A bill in the legislature would direct

retailers to round cash transactions to the

nearest five cents, eliminating the need for the penny when people pay in cash. House bill

2334 passed through the House last week and is headed to the Senate. So much for penny pinching,

but card transactions won't be impacted. Last year, the federal government stopped producing new pennies.

More business owners are thinking of moving out of Washington State.

A new survey by the Association of Washington Business found 17% of business owners are considering a move.

That's nearly double what it was this time last year, and the number

of business owners thinking of moving their personal residents rose to 44%. The survey found three

reasons people threatened to move, taxes, health care costs, and government regulation. And old
