The United Auto Workers' Strike against Detroit's Big Three is underway, and I think the strike

and the outcome will likely teach all of us who care about this country and our fellow

Americans a lot.

We're already hearing something about the haves and have nots in this country and believe

me, our middle class, the foundation of the American Dream, has been under attack for

the past 30 years and don't let anyone tell you higher wages for our hard-hit working

men and women and their families who aspire to the middle class are inflationary.

The haves, that's frankly very screwed up, preserving the American Dream for all Americans

should be the first focus of all our lawmakers.

I can't even tell you what number it is amongst their priorities right now, but it's

low.

The Republican Party should be front and center in the fight for American workers and their

families not giving just lip service but real support to a strong moral nation that

returns to truth, justice for all and the American way.
