Hi there, I'm Kaytown and on this edition of Mysterious Radio. Oh, My name is David Oates and I'm the founder of reverse speech. It's been a field I've been researching for almost 40 years now. I started back in 83.

So there you go, 39 years years 40 years next year so it's my full-time career I spend my time

well analyzing recordings in reverse is how I spend my time and the

basic theory around my research is that language is by level forwards as well as backwards and my claim is that as

the brain is constructing the sounds of speech is putting those sounds together

in such a way that we're delivering two messages

that one is forward from the conscious and the other in reverse from the unconscious.

So that's my basic theory. That theory was proposed in the book I released in 1987 called Beyond Backward Masking.
