Hello and welcome to Sunday Nice Things. Today I'm dropping a podcast in your feed about marriage.

As many of you know, I've been doing the committed podcast for about 10 years now, because when I first

got married to Nick Astor, I was 35 years old, I'd lived a life, okay? I'd lived a whole single Carrie Bradshaw style life. And I had no

idea how to be a wife. None. None. And to figure it out, I traveled around the world because I was a

travel journalist and it was free, not because I was like, you know, some rich bitch or something,

traveled around the world and asked

people how to be married. And that turned into a book called How to Be Married. Clever title, friends,

clever title. Actually, also, not the best title. I don't love that title, but it is what it is.

Maybe one day we'll release it as something else. Anywho, I've been exploring the idea of marriage and what makes a good marriage and what makes a happy marriage and what makes a successful marriage and also how all three of those things maybe are not the same thing for a long time now.

So I love listening to shows about marriage, and that's what this is.
