Also this morning, that enormous lottery drawing overnight,

a $700 million powerball prize at stake. So was there a lucky

winner? And vacation mode, which you could be in if you won that power ball for the rest of your

life, millions of Americans gearing up for Labor Day weekend. And by all accounts, it's going to be

a record breaker. What to know if you are flying or driving anywhere. Yeah, one of the last

weeks of the summer. But we do begin here with the battle going on right now in California's wine country. A large wildfire burning through more acres overnight as firefighters struggle to get it under control. Tough conditions made worse by all that brutal heat for 30 million Americans in the West. Let's get right to ABC's Jacqueline Lee with the latest on that.

Fire officials here in California telling me the lack of rain from the winter has created

these dry conditions that we're seeing, making it much easier for a wildfire to start.

This morning, new evacuation orders as California's picket fire grows.

The fire in Napa County north of San Francisco burning more than 6,500 acres so far.

The fire, only 11% contained.

You can see helicopters dropping water and fire retardant amidst a wall of black smoke.

Got food, got groceries, and got gas and made sure that

my car was filled up in case I do have to evacuate. And in Southern California, Orange County
