here for the U.S. Open, including Venus Williams, making her return to the tournament. But first,

we do have a lot of news to get to Canada's government moving to end the strike by flight

attendance. The late word this morning on when those air Canada flights could resume. And Ukraine's President Zelensky is headed

to Washington for his meeting with President Trump. Other European leaders are now invited to

attend even as Russia launches more strikes on Ukraine overnight. Yeah, the stakes are great for that,

but we are going to begin here with Hurricane Aaron. Here's a look now at the storm last night.

As the weather reconnaissance squadron flew into the hurricanes eye,

Hurricane Aaron weakened to a category three hurricane overnight,

but still remains, of course, a major hurricane.

But we begin here with Morgan Norwood looking at the expected impacts all along the East Coast. Good morning, Morgan. Good morning to you, Gio, and you talked about impacts. The big risk here, the big danger is rip currents. And take a look at the water here. It looks pretty calm on Manhattan Beach, but we know that is certain to change with lifeguards up and down the East Coast bracing for this system and the swells that it could have on the shores.

With Hurricane Aaron turning thousands of miles away, its powerful swells are stirring at rip current strong enough to pull even the strongest and experienced swimmers under lifeguards in Massachusetts.
