Greetings and welcome to a Monday edition of the shotgun start. It is July 24th. Andy, how are we doing?

Brendan, I'm doing great. You know, I have to say I'm all in on covering open championships on the West Coast.

Oh, okay, so this is our daily update on your sort of coverage schedule.

I'm all in on it. You know why? Because you get a live life between days.

I mean, these are the things that I've done with my, I mean, we've been done every day about two o'clock.

Granted, I've been starting at like two o'clock in the morning. These are the things I've done.

I've gone to the beach. I've gone to a concert. I've gone to, I went to, to swim in a river yesterday and the afternoon.

And then today I had a birthday party. I had to go to three-year-old birthday party.

I had to leave early to come back.

Well, I need to recollect my thoughts too. It took me a little out of the open, open mold.

But the, it's a pain getting up, but I'll tell you what, having the day, having the entire day, maybe I'll start working at 2 a.m.

I mean, it works on the East Coast too. It's kind of nice.

I mean, we write for the newsletter. We do the podcast. Sunday we kind of slow down and think about what, you know,

collect our thoughts, as you said. We got invited to our friends house for dinner last night.

And they didn't invite me. They just invited like my wife. You want to come over.

And so like I had to double check to make sure I was invited. And it was just, they were like, oh, we just assumed you're like, you know, you're working all day and night.

And it was, it was awesome. It was great. It's so fun. You can go live your life. You can go like act like a normal weekend.

It's not, you know, it's still at the 12 hour days or whatever, but you get a little slice of life afterwards, especially from home.

So yeah, it's been a good week.
