1:48.1	long, very strange journey, but on Tuesday, San Diego officially was announced as an NWSL
1:55.9	expansion team with Jill Ellis leading the way as the club's president. Most of what became on public on Monday we had already reported here at the athletic.
2:04.6	Obviously, the board did approve the territorial move from Sacramento as originally planned to San Diego.
2:10.6	Ellis's involvement playing out of Torero Stadium, but Ellis hasn't confirmed her head coach yet for the team, though we are pretty sure it is Casey Stony.
2:19.4	San Diego is set for a 2022 start, and Ellis told media in her first Zoom that she expects the
2:24.2	club's crest and branding to be launched within two to three weeks.
