Laura Simonson grew up in Michigan, fishing with her dad

and rocking the Girl Scouts.

In her teens, she started to struggle with some mental health problems,

but with the support of her family made it through the best that she could.

As an adult, she fell in love, got married, and gave birth to seven.

I repeat, seven children whom she loved and adored.

And while she loved and adored them, her mental health struggles worsened,

and she and her husband wound up getting a divorce,

and her children went to live with their father.
