| 0:00.0 | Hello again and welcome back to another Expand podcast with yours truly Elizabeth April. |
| 0:27.7 | Today I want to talk all about escaping and suffering. |
| 0:33.6 | It is a vicious cycle that we as human beings always get trapped within. |
| 0:41.0 | Suffering, escaping, suffering, escaping. |
| 0:45.9 | And the problem is, there's many problems, but one of the big ones is |
| 0:50.7 | the more that we react to the suffering, the more suffering is created, the more escaping |
| 0:59.9 | is needed, and then we start reacting to the escaping. |
| 1:06.4 | More suffering is created, more escaping is needed. |
| 1:10.1 | And I've talked in brief in other videos and podcasts |

| 2:06.6 | element of your suffering has to do with your mind. What are you thinking about? How are you |
| 2:14.9 | perceiving those thoughts? What are the memories that you've had? How have those |
| 2:19.8 | traumatized you or lifted you, elevated you? Every single element of this entire reality, every single |
| 2:28.8 | element of your entire life can be broken down into binary, into duality, into polarity. There is a bright side |
| 2:38.8 | and a dark side of everything. For example, I love my coffee in the mornings, but my coffee can be |
| 2:48.0 | hot and sometimes it burns my tongue and then I can't taste for the rest of the day. |
| 2:52.1 | That sucks. |
