I'm Swaco. What's going on? Good to be here. So you say it's all for having me.

Yeah, fully go by Swaco now. Yeah, yeah, we're Swaco. It honestly like if you know me by Swaco to child, that's cool.

But like, yeah, I dropped the child. Where did that start? Like Swaco, the child. What does that mean? So, uh, Swaco, um, so my whole family is Swedish and Finnish.

Okay. Right. And, uh, when I was a little kid, uh, I was in like a Spanish class. I was like a little fuck around kid and, uh, and then like the teacher asked like the students.

He was like, Yo, what's your, what's your nicknames? I'll call you by your nicknames, right? And then, you know, I'm a little fuck around.

So I told him, I was like, Call me a OG. I'm a OG, Mr. Craig. I'm like 12 years old. And he's like, I'm not going to call you OG. I'll call you Swaco.

OG because Swaco means, uh, Swedish in Spanish. Nice. Right? Yeah. In English. So like, swaco, yeah, Swaco, like, soy, swaco. That's I'm Swedish. Okay. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Uh, and then just a lot of the homie started calling me like Swaco. Okay. Like just outside of class. So it's

swaco, not swaco. Well, no, but then, but then after a while, like, if you didn't speak Spanish, just said Swaco. Yeah. And then I was just like, yeah, that's just

Swaco. Swaco is clean. It is clean. Yeah. That's my name. When's the last time you went by your real first name? Like Will or Willie. Well, so no one that ever has called me will.

It's either been like William or Willie. And most of my life was Willie. And like, maybe like some of my like super old friends still call me that.

But like, since I was like, maybe like 14 or 15, most people just kind of call me Swaco. That's pretty sick. It's super like respectable to get a nickname that really sticks on.

Cause like, only for a few people have it. And if it really sticks on and it becomes like your actual first name, then like, that's so sick. I guess. Uh, yeah. Cool.

Usually sticks when people make it for you. That's why. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know what you mean. So what is the history? You always grew up here. Right. And then how did music start? You're doing Instagram first, uh, with beats. And then you got into like,

TikTok, when tech talk blew up. What's the history there? I mean, no, I've been making music like my whole life. Right. But that was like when shit kind of started working. No, like, yeah.

So I, I started making this a podcast. How long can we go? Go as long as you want. We don't hear at all.

I mean, it's like, I'm telling the story. And, and we want to talk as little as we just want to hear everything you want to hear. Really? Okay. Hold on. Let me. Yeah. Take another drink. You got to get feeling social. Yeah.

Maybe later. Um, no, like, I grew up, uh, in the church. My dad was the choir director. Okay. At the church that I went to and my mom was, uh, like a singer. And so I kind of just grew up, like, singing and, like, shit in church. And then I started playing the drums because my dad got me the video game rock band. Right. Yeah. Like when I was like, hell, young. And I would like get to expert mode.

That was the shit. Yeah. Right. And then like when you start playing those crazy songs, expert mode, you're like playing drums. You're hitting shit on time. Like with the coordination. Getting rhythm. Yeah. And rhythm. Like, uh, and so when I, like sat down at a drum set for the first time, I could kind of already play just from rock band. Wow. Okay. And, uh, so I started playing like drums for the church band. I was like 12. Yeah. Super young. And then in school. I was like in, I was a little
