I'm Catherine Mansley, digital editor at Gardner's World magazine, and I caught up with Sue to find out if her garden is as vibrant as she is.

I asked her to share how she uses colour in her garden, how those colours make her feel, and what she's planning next in her own garden and her

wider gardening career. What's your approach to choosing plant colours for your garden? Do you just

throw everything in or do you follow a strict colour scheme? I used to throw everything in and then I

wasn't happy with it and then I looked at some plants. You know, I went to throw everything in and then I wasn't happy with it. And then I looked at some plants.

You know, I went to visit a couple of friends and the happy coincidences that plants come

together and they, when they work well, how different it is on the, on your eyes.

So I now try and think a lot more about it.

There is one border I've got where I throw everything in,

but everything else is a much more thoughtful process.

And I like to sort of try and try them outside the border in pots before I plant them.

And how would you describe the colour scheme in your garden?

I think as a lot of pink, white and blues and green and purples.

But, you know, I do like block planting.

So some of it is in this big blocks of pink in, from August onwards.
