Turn with me this morning to the book of James, please.

In James, the fourth chapter for the last few weeks we have been on a subject

concerning submission and authority.

Now, you even say the S word, and a lot of folk get nervous. But like we've already

talked about, is it or is it not a Bible word? We should not have an aversion to a Bible word.

That's true with anything.

I mean, some people you say deliverance, and they immediately think, I don't want to hear that.

Deliverance is a Bible word.

A lot of people, not us, but a whole lot of people hear the word prosperity.

And they just are turned off.

But prosper is a Bible word rich is a Bible word right and how strange that Christians who claim to love God and hold the Bible in the highest regard don't want to hear

Bible words.

But let's purpose not to be that way.

How many believe that the truth doesn't hurt you?

Won't put you in bondage.

What will it do for you?

It makes you free.

That includes the truth about submission and authority, right? And any other

thing that the Bible has to say. So the challenge is to hear the word with open heart and fresh ears

and not think you know what it means because i don't care how much revelation

you've got from any passage of scripture there's so much there that you've not yet seen right

but you must see it and listen to it and see it as if you haven't seen it so let's endeavor to do that
