We have some good, good news in the realm of cancer research and cancer trials, and I am all for success.

Cancer is one of those diseases that is absolutely horrific.

And I would say 100% of us, all of you listeners have either experienced cancer yourself or within your family or somebody very close to you

and probably multiple people cancer is a cruel disease i've sat at the bedside of too many friends

and including children who've passed away from cancer. It is a terrible, terrible

disease. I don't wish it on any worst enemy of anybody. I just, I don't think it's fair.

I think cancer is a very mean, very cruel disease.

I have a sister who is a breast cancer survivor. I have many, many friends who've had cancer.

We have right now, within our baseball community, a little eight-year-old girl who's battling leukemia.

And she's currently going through chemotherapy. She's losing her hair in big clumps.

And she's such a good sport about it. It's such a good kid. And I just, I can't, I can never wrap my mind around the positive attitude

that children have or really anybody who has cancer but children who are battling that it's just

it's so undeserving and it's unfair and it's a very cruel disease.

And so today's show is, it's a heavy topic, obviously, but it's also upbeat because this

research is very, very promising.

And I'm seeing several studies come out when it comes to cancer research.

And that's why people like St. Jude's Research, St. Jude's Research Hospital.

That's why it's so important.

I covered the story of Ryan and Haley-Trayhan and their
