Romans 8.15, for you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you've

received the spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Now the spirit of adoption is an interesting phrase.

This morning I'm going to show how that phrase actually refers to the rapture of the church.

You might be somewhat surprised by this fact, because usually we think of the adoption as having occurred

when by faith we receive Christ, or baptized in spirit. At that point, we were adopted.

Well, yes and no. Positionally, we were, but our adoption will not be complete until the catching

going to change the way you look at the Bible, the word, the spirit, and so forth.
