We are going to be in the Olivet discourse, Matthew 24, and so turn there if you will.

Last week in looking at Matthew 24, Jesus' own words concerning the tribulation, comparing

it with the days of Noah.

We looked at that and we saw how the world would degenerate to the point that judgment

would fall.

The days of Noah were characterized by incredible ungodliness, a complete departure from

God's plan.

And Jesus said that when judgment comes, it's going to come quickly and without mercy.

He said, people will be taken. Matthew 2440, then two shall be in the field, the one shall

be taken the other left. Two women grinding at the mill, one taking the other left.

Watch, therefore, for you know not what

hour the Lord doth come.

And last week we went into that scenario, the way judgment would fall in several

different ways.

And we noted that the thing that Jesus was trying to stress here was that judgment would

come not only quickly but

without respect to persons one taken one left it's gonna hit who it hits and it's

gonna hit quickly and it's going to hit unexpectedly without mercy and the
