Genesis 114, God said, let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day

from the night.

Let them be for signs and for seasons, for days, and for years.

Those lights are not there by accident.

God put them there systematically.

They are the gospel in the stars.

And the planets that move among the stars point out the work of Christ.

There's just no doubt about that.

And furthermore, the moon, operating as it does, has determined the lunar calendar of the Jews and the beginnings of months and of festival cycles for millennia.

The new moon of Tishri starts the civil year.

The new moon of Nissen starts the sacred year.

And so the sun, the moon, the stars are signs.

Now, when Jesus came to Israel, he castigated the Pharisees because they had forgotten how to interpret the signs in the heavens.

He said, oh, ye hypocrites, you can discern the face of the sky, but can you not discern the

signs of the times?

And he launched against them because they should have known of the time of his coming simply

by observing the Shavuas, the jubilees, the flow of times and seasons.

Israel is literally built around times and seasons.
