The new study that I'm going to be doing deals with a question.

Has the apostasy begun?

There was an apostasy prophesied in the Bible for the latter days.

The Bible says that in the latter days certain things are going to happen.

There are some people who say, well, maybe the apostasy has occurred,

maybe not, and some people would say,

well, how could you know if apostasy has arrived as prophesied?

Or even to go back further than that, what is apostasy? We've studied Jude who gave six examples

of apostasy, if you will. His first example was the children of Israel who were freed from

Egyptian bondage and they went out and they had a terrible lapse in faith. If you will,

apostasy broke out in the camp of the Israelites. And Jude said, the Lord having saved the people

out of the land of Egypt afterward destroyed them that believed not. That was Jude's first example of apostasy.

Second example, the angels who descended from heaven in order to create kingdoms on earth.

He called them the angels that kept not their first estate.

And the third example was Sodom and Gomorrah.

Sodom and Gomorrah in the old days, back in the days of Abraham,

constituted some of the most beautiful and rich and lush territory in the Middle East,

but that area was destroyed by the judgment of God.
