If you imagine a mountain top with a little peak on top, the thing that you would find

right at the top of the mountain is the scripture that pertains to the coming of Christ for

his own people.

It's a mystery.

It's a great mystery.

Fundamental Christians, as they have come to be called, people who believe in the divine

and full inspiration of the Word of God

are often laughed at for believing that Jesus is going to come back for us, and that will be changed in the moment, the twinkling of an eye.

It's an interesting thing about the development of spiritual things in the world. What you see if you look back historically is that for every

positive spiritual development in history, there is an equal negative development. Satan always

manages to come up with an alternative at every stage of the game. In the 19th century, late 19th

century, the missionary movement arose and gospel went all of the game. In the 19th century, late 19th century, the missionary movement arose,

and gospel went all around the world, but guess what was happening at the same time? The great

movements of higher criticism began, and culminating in the Groff-Wellhausen idea of scriptural analysis,

by which there was virtually no divine inspiration.

Then as the missionary movement continued and the Bible study movement grew at the turn of

the 20th century, along came World War I.

And the world was plunged into kind of an existential darkness in the years of World War I, World War II.
